Welcome to my Google Page folks.  I have various websites on the net, and am always adding more. I am a Google nut. I started using Google when it first came online, and this was when Altavista was the leader. At that time, I found Google to give better search results. Then, Gmail was introduced, and of course, I was an early adopter. Then, Google offered the various Google Tools, and I got on the bandwagon. I think I was one of the earliest ones to use Google Earth.

Who am I. Well, I am a 53 year old Texan, a doctor, a writer, a martial artist, and computer nut.

I've been a computerphile since the first time I got my first computer, which was a laptop. It had no hard drive, and had a DOS operating system that was stored on floppy discs. My first desktop computer had a hard drive of 120 megabytes. At the time, people asked me why I got such a "giant" hard drive, and they said I would never fill up the space. Now, you can get a thumb drive with a gig of space on it for around 50 dollars. Now, they are talking about terabyte drives, holographic storage, etc,

In health care, the race to the future has not brought quite as many advances as the computer field has. Of course, the evening news WANTS you to believe we are in the brave new world of telemedicine, cloning, 3D scans, etc., but the truth is, we are still analog, organic creatures, and ultimately, healing is an inside job. The highest level of health care is keeping people healthy. But, there is a lot of money in treating illness, and relaively little in preventtion or health maintenance.
